Heraklion Airport: Maintenance of Metal Lighting Poles and Masts
The work was carried out on the eight (8) main metal lighting poles, as well as on the metal masts at Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis.”
Our company executed the project, with the objectives being:
- Restoration of the concrete in the foundations of the poles.
- Arc welding of the metal pole stems that had failed, using a bucket truck.
- Maintenance of the metal framework of the poles through the application of a polyurethane coating, using rope access techniques.
